PRESSR: Saudi Airlines launches flights to El Alamein and Salalah
Saudi Airlines has launched flights to El Alamein City in the Arab Republic of Egypt, departing from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, where they are scheduled for 3 weekly flights in one direction, as well as via King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, with a total of 3 weekly flights in one direction. El Alamein is the national carrier's fourth destination in Egypt .
Saudia also launched its first flights to Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman, departing from Jeddah, which is its second destination in Oman after the capital, Muscat. The flights are scheduled to operate three flights per week in one direction. Airbus A320 aircraft have been allocated to operate the two new destinations, which are characterised by operational efficiency and distinguished air services that enhance the travel experience, whether through comfortable seats or diverse entertainment systems .
Saudia's expansion efforts across its network are supported by its modern and growing fleet of aircraft, which currently numbers 147, with an ambitious plan to add 118 new aircraft over the next few years. This is in conjunction with the implementation of several unique initiatives that contribute to enhancing the travel experience by relying on the latest artificial intelligence technologies and the best developments in the aviation industry in ground and air services.
