PRESSR: AlUla prepares for a busy winter season with the return of regional flights and the strengthening of its global air network.
AlUla, Saudi Arabia : AlUla is gearing up for an exciting new winter season, with its air network expanding to provide easier access for visitors from across the region and the world to the oasis in the northwest of the Arabian Peninsula.
From October 26, 2025, to March 28, 2026, AlUla International Airport will receive 27 flights per week, including three weekly flights via Doha operated by Qatar Airways, in addition to the return of Royal Jordanian Airlines to operate two weekly flights between AlUla and the Jordanian capital, Amman.
With Qatar Airways operating flights to AlUla from Doha, which connects more than 90 countries via Hamad International Airport, these flights provide a new window connecting the northwest of the Arabian Peninsula to the entire world, making this exceptional destination accessible to millions of travelers from across continents.
The AlUla-Amman route is not only significant for its new air route; it also reflects the deep cultural ties between two lands united by the ancient Nabataean civilization. Just as Petra in Jordan stands as a testament to the Nabateans' genius and architectural creativity, Hegra, the first Saudi site inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List, continues to preserve a rich shared heritage of tombs and monuments intricately carved into the rocks.
The winter schedule of flights to and from AlUla includes:
- Saudi Airlines: Two daily flights, one from Riyadh and the other from Jeddah .
- Flynas : Five flights per week; from Riyadh on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, and from Dammam on Thursdays and Saturdays .
- Flydubai : Three flights per week between Dubai and AlUla on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays .
- Qatar Airways : Three flights per week from Doha on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays .
- Royal Jordanian Airlines : Two weekly flights from Amman on Thursdays and Sundays, from October 19, 2025 to February 26, 2026 .

About Al-Ula:
AlUla is located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, approximately 1,100 kilometers from the capital, Riyadh, and is considered one of the world's most prominent natural and human heritage sites. Spanning a vast area of 22,561 square kilometers, it includes a lush oasis, sandstone mountain ranges, and archaeological sites dating back thousands of years to the Lihyan and Nabataean kingdoms .
