PRESSR: Tally Solutions and the Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India sign a Memorandum of Understanding to promote digital transformation and grow the professional community in the UAE.
United Arab Emirates : Tally Solutions, a leading business management solutions provider in the UAE, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), as part of a joint collaboration aimed at empowering chartered accountants in the country through the adoption of technology, promoting continuous learning, and increasing professional visibility.
The ICAI Dubai Chapter represents over 3,100 active members and plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial ecosystem and SME sector in the region. As part of this partnership, Tally Solutions will offer six specialized Masterclasses throughout the year focused on the TallyPrime program, providing practical training on modern accounting and compliance techniques, enhancing operational efficiency, performance accuracy, and the value of services provided to clients.
Commenting on the partnership, Vikas Panchal, Managing Director, Tally Solutions MENA, said: “Our collaboration with the ICAI Dubai Chapter exemplifies our ongoing commitment to building an ecosystem that empowers individuals and SMEs to lead through knowledge and confidence in technology. With the rapidly changing tax landscape in the UAE, especially following our signing of the Digital Tax Integration Agreement with the Federal Tax Authority, we are ideally positioned to support chartered accountants in understanding regulatory requirements and helping businesses achieve compliance. This partnership reflects our shared vision to advance professionalism and strengthen the business community in the country.”
For his part, Chartered Accountant Jai Prakash Agarwal, Head of ICAI Dubai Chapter, added, "SMEs are the backbone of any economy. If an economy is to grow and prosper rapidly, this pillar must be strengthened, otherwise it will weaken. Tally contributes to strengthening this foundation through the simplicity of its products and ease of operations. ICAI Dubai Chapter believes in this simplicity, which is why Tally and the institute have continued their collaboration for the tenth consecutive year, working together to empower SMEs in the UAE through education, knowledge, and training."
The MoU strengthens the long-standing relationship between Tally and the ICAI Dubai Chapter, spanning over a decade, by launching new initiatives aimed at delivering greater value to the institute's members. This partnership comes at a time when the UAE is witnessing significant developments in tax policy, such as the implementation of corporate tax, e-filing for VAT, and preparations for e-invoicing. By combining practical learning with advanced technologies, this partnership ensures that financial professionals are prepared to keep pace with regulatory and technological changes.
In addition to the workshops, chartered accountants will gain access to the Bosses of Bookkeeping ( BoB ) platform and join Tally's active community of over 70,000 companies in the country, giving them the opportunity to connect with companies looking for trusted advisors and build a stronger professional presence.
Tally experts will also have a continuous presence at ICAI Dubai Chapter events throughout the year, providing advice, knowledge transfer, and technical support to members whenever needed.
For ICAI members, this partnership means a stronger platform for skill development and more efficient client service, while Tally Solutions strengthens its relationship with the chartered accountants community, who continue to play a key role in corporate growth and compliance in the region.
