Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Huawei AppGallery, in partnership with Cenomi Centers and with the support of STC Bank, announced the successful conclusion of the first edition of the Cenomi Centers x AppGallery Esports Carnival KSA 2026 , which was held on May 15 and 16 at View Mall in Riyadh.
As the first App Store Gamers Cup ( AGC ) event of its kind to be held inside a Riyadh shopping mall, this two-day event transformed the popular shopping destination into a vibrant hub for gaming and entertainment. The event attracted mobile gamers, casual gamers, digital creators, and families all under one roof.
The event was designed to cater to all player levels and interests. The live esports tournament followed two weeks of online qualifiers, culminating in on-field finals featuring a variety of game genres, from battle royale and strategy games to popular app store titles. Finalists competed for prizes totaling SAR 100,000, along with a range of Huawei devices.
In addition to the competitions, the carnival offered interactive experiences that fostered participation. A GoPaint digital art competition was also held, encouraging attendees to create artwork using Huawei tablets, in an initiative that combined gaming culture with creative expression. Furthermore, the Play & Win zone provided an easy and open gaming experience for all mall visitors, encouraging them to explore the app store through instant play and rewards.
The event also featured a range of popular recreational games, including the widely played Yalla Ludo. Thanks to its inclusive and open competition format, these activities attracted significant visitor engagement, drawing large crowds and creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere throughout the venue.
To emphasize the event’s role in providing an innovative entertainment experience that reflects the modern lifestyle, the carnival also included live music performances, DJ sets, and food and beverage stations, which contributed to boosting attendance and ensuring continued audience engagement over the two days.
William Ho, General Manager of Cloud Services at Huawei Consumer Business Group in the Middle East and Africa, said: “The strong response in Riyadh reflects the size, diversity, and passion of the gaming community in Saudi Arabia.
