SAL signs partnerships on the sidelines of the Supply Chain and Logistics Conference 2024

Riyadh - Mubasher: SAL Logistics Services Company (SAL) signed a number of strategic partnerships during its participation as a logistics sponsor in the Supply Chains and Logistics Conference held in Riyadh on December 15-16, 2024.

The company explained in a statement today, Tuesday, that these important partnerships are in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to develop the logistics services sector and enhance the Kingdom’s position to become a global logistics center that cares about innovation and sustainability.

Among the important partnerships that took place during the conference, SAL signed an agreement with the Second Airports Cluster and the Hail Region Development Authority to expand logistics services in the Hail region; which aims to develop and enhance the logistics sector in the Hail region through Hail International Airport, develop regional exports and imports, and explore innovative solutions to improve the quality of logistics services performance.

SAL also signed a memorandum of understanding with Elm Company to enhance the latest advanced digital technologies designed specifically to improve customer experience. The agreement will enhance operational efficiency by providing innovative digital solutions that support SAL’s operational processes, in addition to truck scheduling systems, secure payment platforms, and integration with other national platforms such as the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority platform, and the Ministry of Interior’s electronic services platform (Absher).

This partnership highlights SAL’s innovative approach to adopting the best innovative technologies in supply chains and logistics services in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Speaking on the occasion of this announcement, Omar bin Talal Hariri, CEO of SAL Logistics, said: “Signing these partnerships is an important step that enhances SAL’s integrated efforts across all regions of the Kingdom. The partnership with the Second Airports Cluster Company, Hail Development Authority and Elm Company confirms our commitment to supporting and empowering the transportation and logistics sectors, and we look forward to building a future that confirms the Kingdom’s leadership in this sector.”
