Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Hilton (NYSE: HLT ) and Sorouh Management Company today announced the signing of an agreement to develop the Waldorf Astoria Bahrain Bay in the heart of the Bahraini capital, Manama, as the luxury brand’s first hotel in the country. Known for its premium hospitality offerings, Waldorf Astoria will be located in Bahrain Bay, the most distinguished and successful real estate development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Slated to open in 2028, Waldorf Astoria Bahrain Bay will be located next to The Avenues, Bahrain, the premier waterfront shopping and entertainment destination featuring a unique mix of luxury retail and leisure projects. The hotel will be in close proximity to Bahrain Financial Harbour, the country’s main business district, offering easy access to roads linking Bahrain to Saudi Arabia .

A luxury retreat in the heart of the Bahraini capital, Waldorf Astoria Bahrain Bay will feature 120 elegantly designed rooms and serviced apartments, while the iconic brand will continue to deliver the brand’s signature levels of personal care through its dedicated concierge service, ensuring a hassle-free and memorable stay experience, with every detail focused on providing the ultimate in comfort and helping guests plan their itineraries to suit their interests before arrival and after departure .

This collaboration confirms the strengthening of the ongoing partnership between Hilton and Alshaya Group and its subsidiaries, which currently includes two hotels in The Avenues - Kuwait, including Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, and three hotels in The Avenues - Riyadh across a range of brands, including Waldorf Astoria and Canopy by Hilton.
