Dubai - Mubasher: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, will head to New Delhi tomorrow, Tuesday, on an official visit to India.

During his visit to India, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed is leading a high-level delegation to hold talks with senior officials on ways to strengthen partnerships and cooperation between the two countries in various vital and developmental fields, according to the Emirates News Agency, WAM.

According to WAM, the UAE's non-oil trade with India increased by 20.5% to more than AED 240 billion in 2024, compared to AED 199.3 billion in 2023, reflecting the promising investment and trade opportunities between the two countries .

India topped the list of the UAE's non-oil exports in 2024, accounting for 13.5% of the UAE's non-oil exports, with an unprecedented record growth of 75.2% compared to 2023 .

The significant increase in the volume of non-oil trade, joint ventures, and mutual investments between the UAE and India comes as the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two countries enters its third year on May 1, a significant driver for promoting sustainable growth across various sectors and fields .
