Riyadh - Mubasher: The Hajj Conference and Exhibition will kick off next Monday at Jeddah Superdome, after the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah completes the conclusion of Hajj agreements with 80 Hajj Affairs Offices from different countries around the world, as part of Hajj affairs arrangements and early preparations for the Hajj season of 1446 AH.

The conference will reveal the most prominent qualitative projects, and introduce the latest technologies and services to facilitate procedures and improve the Hajj journey; while the "Health Oasis" will be organized for the first time within the conference activities; which will consolidate the vital role of healthcare services from service providers within the Hajj journey; and healthcare companies continue to meet with Hajj Affairs Offices and service providers that need healthcare services according to the new regulations that require contracting with Saudi healthcare institutions, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA", today, Friday.

The “Health Oasis” will showcase specialized medical solutions and services, by displaying the latest technologies and health services that support the comfort and safety of pilgrims, such as emergency services and health care products, and allowing direct interaction with companies organizing the Hajj, and developing services that suit the requirements of pilgrims.

The conference includes a number of accompanying events and activities, most notably the second edition of the Sustainable Solutions Challenge for Guests of God project, which is a platform for entrepreneurs and innovators to implement innovative solutions that address the challenges faced by pilgrims and Umrah performers, with a focus on the challenges of transportation, accommodation, hospitality, content, construction, and other areas; with the aim of enhancing the overall Hajj and Umrah experience, practical and influential ideas for a smoother and more enriching journey, encouraging creativity and innovation among entrepreneurs, innovators, and developers, and benefiting from modern technology in the Hajj and Umrah sector, and establishing start-up companies that contribute to developing and improving Hajj and Umrah services.

The conference will also witness the “Humanizing the Holy Sites” Hackathon as a competitive event that brings together engineers, designers and specialists to present innovative engineering proposals, visions and solutions with the aim of enhancing the concept of humanizing the Holy Sites by focusing on developing sustainable solutions that are friendly to humans and the environment. This is based on highlighting the capabilities of the current generation and motivating them to present ideas and solutions with a sustainable impact, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in humanizing the Holy Sites and enriching the experience of the Guests of God.

This year’s Hajj Conference and Exhibition will dedicate a main ministerial session with the participation of a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers and officials in the departments concerned with serving the Guests of God. This session will witness interaction and participation in highlighting the new and currently being implemented services and projects, the activated procedures and the qualitative programs that aim to facilitate matters for the Guests of God so that they can all enjoy a journey of faith whose motto is ease and reassurance.
