Ministry of Commerce calls on companies to adjust their status before the deadline expires on January 18

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Ministry of Commerce announced that there are only 20 days left of the deadline granted to companies to adjust their status, based on Royal Decree No. (M/132) dated 12/1/1443 AH, which stipulates that all existing companies upon the entry into force of the Companies Law (January 19, 2023 AD) must adjust their status in accordance with its provisions.

The Ministry called on companies to take the initiative to amend the articles of association/statute through the (Business Platform) of the Saudi Center for Economic Business, and to benefit from (the absence of a financial fee for publication) at the present time.

The Ministry explained that it will take legal measures against companies that do not comply with amending the articles of association/statute, in accordance with the provisions of the new Companies Law, after the deadline expires on January 18, 2025.
