This comes in a step that reflects the depth of Egyptian-Saudi relations in the field of human resources development and vocational training, according to a press statement issued on Tuesday.
During his tour, the Minister was briefed on the Academy’s experience in qualifying Saudi youth, and listened to a detailed explanation of the training system followed, which relies on the latest methods and modern technologies, in addition to reviewing the local and international partnerships that enhance the quality of training and develop competencies.
A comprehensive presentation was also given on the trainee’s journey within the academy and the latest practices in vocational training, which aim to provide trainees with the practical skills required in the labor market.
The Egyptian Minister expressed his great admiration for the advanced model presented by the Academy, stressing his keenness to enhance cooperation between Egypt and the Kingdom in this field, and to discuss the possibility of opening a branch of the Academy in Egypt, with the aim of transferring knowledge and qualifying Egyptian youth for modern jobs, in line with the requirements of regional and international labor markets.
This visit comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts to enhance the Egyptian-Saudi partnership in the fields of training and vocational rehabilitation, which contributes to preparing a new generation of trained Egyptian competencies and opening more opportunities for young people to acquire specialized skills that qualify them for the advanced labor market, in line with the state’s vision that focuses on developing human capital and enhancing innovation in various sectors.
It is worth noting that the Minister's visit to the Academy was on the sidelines of his participation in the activities of the International Labor Market Conference held in Riyadh last week.
The Arab Academy is one of the most prominent training institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was established in 2024 at its headquarters in Riyadh. It aims to empower individuals and institutions through innovative and integrated training solutions that contribute to bridging professional gaps and enhancing national competencies.
The Academy offers specialized training programs covering various fields, such as sales and customer service, retail management, beauty, fashion and design, in addition to hospitality and tourism, making it an integrated training platform targeting job seekers, entrepreneurs, and institutions seeking to improve their performance and efficiency.
The Academy represents a unique model in vocational training, as it combines theoretical education through classrooms and electronic platforms, and practical training in environments that simulate reality, which ensures the preparation of qualified cadres capable of effective integration into the labor market. Its training programs are also accredited by the “General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training”, which gives trainees a competitive advantage in their career path.
