Minister of Transport inaugurates the Digitization Center and the “Your Documents” platform

Riyadh - Mubasher: Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser launched the project to establish, operate and maintain the digitization and technical processing center at the ministry and its branches. He also witnessed the inauguration of the unified platform for documents and papers "Your Documents", in the presence of a number of leaders of the transport and logistics services system .
These initiatives come as part of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance digital transformation in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 .
The Minister also inaugurated the historical exhibition of the transportation and logistics system, which aims to develop the Ministry’s documentation and archives centers and branches, in line with the Kingdom’s vision towards digital transformation. The exhibition includes historical documents, photos and old equipment used in the transportation sector, in addition to specialized laboratories for document restoration and sterilization, and a unified center for document destruction to ensure the confidentiality of information .
In his opening speech, Eng. Al-Jasser stressed the importance of the project, which reflects the wise leadership’s direction to raise the efficiency of government services and adopt modern technologies and artificial intelligence to preserve the ministry’s historical legacy, emphasizing the project’s role in improving the work environment and providing a model to be emulated in the use of emerging technologies .
Assistant Minister Ahmed bin Sufyan Al Hassan pointed out that the digitization project is a fundamental pillar in implementing the ministry’s digital transformation strategy, stressing that it contributes to organizing and protecting documents and archives on advanced technical foundations .
For his part, the General Supervisor of the Documents and Archives Center, Eng. Bandar Al-Ruqi, explained that the project is the result of integrated efforts from the various departments of the Ministry, extending his thanks to those in charge of the project for the tangible achievements they have made .
The project represents a qualitative step in promoting innovation and digital transformation, which contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and improving transportation and logistics services .
