- Italy plans to spend more than 1 billion euros ($1.05 billion) of state money next year to support the automotive sector, Industry Minister Adolfo Urso said at a meeting in Rome with representatives of carmaker Stellantis STLAM.MI.

"We are aware that the automotive sector is facing huge changes. That is why, in a difficult budgetary context, the government has made a significant effort by allocating more than 1 billion euros to help the industry," Urso said.
