TASI Mid-Market Update — June 8, 2026
Saudi Arabia's benchmark index, Tadawul All Shares Index(TASI.SA), nearly flat in early Monday trading, fluctuating at a wider range. The performance comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the region following reported military exchanges, which have introduced mixed catalysts across key sectors.

The banking sector experienced downward pressure, highlighted by a 0.5% decline in Al Rajhi Bank(1120.SA). Conversely, the energy sector provided a partial offset to the index's losses. State oil giant Saudi Arabian Oil Co.(2222.SA) advanced by 0.9%, supported by a sharp increase in global oil prices. Benchmark Brent crude futures rose 4.47%, or $4.42, to reach $97.15 a barrel, driven by concerns over potential supply risks linked to the ongoing regional developments.
In the large-cap sector, The Saudi National Bank(1180.SA) is edging higher by 0.5%. Saudi Arabian Mining Co.(1211.SA) is under pressure, dropping 1.80%. ACWA POWER Co.(2082.SA) and Saudi Basic Industries Corp.(2010.SA) are both relatively flat, moving 0.11% and 0.00% respectively.
