Med crude-Differentials steady as buying interest surfaces
LONDON, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Urals and Mediterranean crude differentials to dated Brent were stable on Thursday as trade remained muted over the holiday period in Europe and Former Soviet Union (FSU) countries, while fresh buying interest surfaced for Caspian CPC Blend crude.
* A Greek refiner issued a tender to buy CPC Blend for Feb. 9-11 arrival, which will close on Friday, a trade source said.
* January public holidays are underway in Russia and some other FSU countries following the New Year celebration, as western European nations begin to emerge from the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
