Oil rises by more than two dollars a barrel after Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon

- Oil prices rose by more than $2 a barrel in early Asian trading after Israel on Sunday launched airstrikes around Beirut for the first time since the United States announced a ceasefire plan for Lebanon.

U.S. crude oil futures rose $2.57 to $93.11 a barrel by 22:15 GMT, while Brent crude futures rose $2.67 to $95.76 a barrel.
