Amna Assem

A subsidiary of Middle East Specialized Cables Company (MESC), a Saudi company specializing in industrial cables and listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange, has been awarded a contract to supply low-voltage and telecommunications cables in the UAE worth $46.6 million, according to the company's disclosure to the stock exchange.

According to the company's statement, this contract was made through the Middle East Specialized Cables Company "MESC - Ras Al Khaimah".

It has been operating for more than 30 years, and was listed on the stock exchange in 2007. Its headquarters are in Riyadh.

- It operates in the industrial cable industry, which includes data transmission cables and control cables for devices and equipment, and provides its services to the oil, gas, petrochemical, energy and infrastructure sectors.

It owns factories in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and established its facility in Ras Al Khaimah in 2010 to support its regional expansion, where it has a subsidiary. It also owns a minority stake of approximately 20% in a company in Jordan.

Its activities extend to 14 countries, and it operates through its regional offices located in the Gulf, Middle East and North Africa markets, in addition to exporting its products to a number of global markets.

- The company recorded a growth in net profit attributable to shareholders of 69.7% year-on-year during the first quarter of 2026, reaching approximately 32.6 million Saudi Riyals.
