PRESSR: Ajman Chamber discusses 2024 initiatives and projects
His Excellency Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stressed that the Ajman Chamber is keen to follow up and keep pace with local and global economic trends and developments to improve competitiveness and ensure the development of the businesses of the Chamber’s members from the private sector establishments, in addition to continuously updating services and projects in support of providing proactive services that contribute to enhancing sustainable development and developing the business environment, as well as identifying opportunities and challenges and taking the necessary measures to support the ease of doing business and its sustainability.
He praised the efforts of the Ajman Chamber and its partners from the government agencies concerned with economic affairs to enhance Ajman's attractiveness to foreign direct investment, increase the volume of inter-trade, and work to open new markets for local products.
This came during a joint meeting chaired by His Excellency Abdullah Al Muwaiji, in the presence of His Excellency Hamad bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Second Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, members of the Board of Directors, and His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber.
The attendees were briefed on the results of the Ajman Chamber’s work during the year 2023. The projects and initiatives of the Ajman Chamber during the year 2024 were also discussed, as well as the efforts made to provide an integrated and encouraging business environment for the development and growth of private sector establishments, in addition to the Ajman Chamber’s reliance on applying innovation and governance methodologies and quality standards to all its services and operations to ensure improved competitiveness and increased economic and investment attractiveness of the emirate.
The attendees stressed the need to intensify the efforts of the Ajman Chamber to expand the scope of its local, Gulf and international partnerships in support of developing a renewed network of local and global economic relations that support expansion opportunities, business development and promoting the Emirate of Ajman as an ideal investment destination, in addition to opening effective communication channels to exchange information, expertise and best practices and enhance joint cooperation between private sector establishments.
