AM Best has affirmed the Financial Strength Rating of A (Excellent) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of "a+" (Excellent) for the core Blue Cross Blue Shield-branded insurance subsidiaries of Elevance Health Inc., as well as most of its non-Blue-branded subsidiaries. The Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of Elevance Health Inc. itself remains at "bbb+" (Good). Additionally, the Financial Strength Rating and Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating for Wellpoint Life and Health Insurance Company and Wellpoint West Virginia, Inc. have been upgraded to A (Excellent) and "a+" (Excellent), respectively.
