Bouygues Construction wins $1.7 billion contract in US Virgin Islands

- French conglomerate Bouygues BOUY.PA said on Thursday its construction business in the U.S. and the Caribbean had won a contract for a combined value of 1.45 billion euros ($1.67 billion) to rebuild and modernise schools and administrative buildings in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The projects will take five years, the company said in a statement.
