- The Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which delivers oil from Kazakhstan to global markets via a Russian terminal on the Black Sea, increased oil exports in April by about 5% from March, two industry sources told Reuters on Monday.

  • CPC increased oil exports in April to 6.314 million metric tons, or 1.67 million barrels per day, from 6.196 million tons in March, two industry sources said.

  • Exports increased thanks to a 16% jump in Kazakhstan's oil production.

  • Kazakhstan is set to redirect 160,000 metric tons of oil previously planned for Germany to CPC this month.

  • CPC plans to raise oil exports to 72 million tons this year, up from 70.5 million tons in 2025.

  • CPC's main shareholders are Russia (31%), Kazakhstan (20.75%), Chevron CVX.N (15%) and other companies.
