Charter Communications Inc., through its Spectrum brand, has launched gigabit broadband, mobile, TV, and voice services to nearly 1,300 homes and small businesses in Scotland County, North Carolina. This expansion is part of Spectrum’s $7 billion rural construction initiative, which aims to add more than 100,000 miles of fiber-optic infrastructure and deliver high-speed internet to over 1.7 million new locations nationwide. The investment is designed to bring advanced connectivity and competitive services to underserved rural communities, helping to bridge the digital divide.
