MOSCOW, July 8 (Reuters) - Chevron CVX.N said on Monday it was aware of an incident with a vessel heading to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium's loading facilities near Russia's Black Sea port of Novorossiysk and the crew was safe, while exports from Kazakhstan were not affected.
Industry sources told Reuters that the tanker was attacked by drones.
"All crew are safe, and the vessel remains stable. The vessel is proceeding to a safe port, and we are coordinating with the ship operator and relevant authorities," Chevron said in emailed comments.
It added there had been no impact to operations of its Kazakhstan's TCO oil venture or exports.
