China aims for retail sales of around $8.85 trillion by 2030
BEIJING, July 13 (Reuters) - China is aiming for retail sales to total around 60 trillion yuan ($8.85 trillion) by 2030, the government said in its 15th five-year plan for expanding consumption.
The plan, released on Monday, vowed to boost services consumption, including those related to elderly care and childcare.
It also pledged to develop tourism consumption, expand the visa-free scheme to include more countries and increase the number of direct flights to Europe, the United States and Belt and Road countries.
