BEIJING, June 15 (Reuters) - China welcomes the agreement reached between the United States and Iran to end their conflict and hopes the deal will be signed as planned, a foreign ministry spokesperson said on Monday.

China hopes that safe and free passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be restored as soon as possible, spokesperson Lin Jian said at a regular press briefing.
