Commvault Systems Inc. has announced a partnership with Pinecone to enhance cyber resilience for enterprise AI workloads, particularly those utilizing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications. The collaboration will enable advanced point-in-time recovery and immutable backups for vector retrieval workloads, ensuring rapid recovery and compliance support for joint customers. The integrated solution, delivered via Commvault Cloud, will support multi-cloud environments including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. General availability of the integration is expected in the first half of 2026.
