Feb 5 (Reuters) - Compass Group CPG.L, the world's largest caterer, reported a bigger rise in first-quarter organic revenue than expected on Thursday, helped by robust growth in its sports & leisure and business & industry segments.

The company's organic revenue grew 7.3% in the three months to December 31, compared with market expectations of 7.1% growth, according to a company-compiled consensus.
