Europe Gasoline/Naphtha-Gasoline refining margins ease

- Northwest European gasoline refining margins eased $2.15 to $35.16 a barrel on Thursday but still hovered near multi-year highs as supply concerns supported margins.

  • Sahara sold around 1,900 metric tons of Eurobob E10 gasoline barges to MB Energy.

  • An additional 5,500 tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline barges were traded, with Shell and Exxon Mobil selling to Varo and MB Energy.

  • Traders have sold gasoline produced by Indian refiner Nayara Energy to Russia, which is grappling with fuel shortages triggered by Ukrainian attacks on its energy infrastructure, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter said on Thursday.

  • Oil shipments from Russia's western ports hit a record high in June and are expected to maintain that level in July as ongoing drone attacks on domestic refineries force Moscow to boost crude exports, three trade and industry sources said on Thursday.

  • As Kyiv tries to pressure Moscow into making peace with strikes on the country's energy infrastructure, the resulting damage has squeezed oil-rich Russia's fuel supplies, leading to restrictions in most regions and growing public disquiet.

  • Gasoline stocks held independently in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp refining and storage hub fell 7.4% to 940,000 tons on high exports and strong inland demand, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed.
