DUBAI, June 2 (Reuters) - An exchange of messages between Iran and the United States to reach an memorandum of understanding on a deal to end the war stopped a few days ago, Iran's semi-official Fars news agency said on Tuesday, citing a source with knowledge of the matter.

The latest message from Tehran to Washington was "a clear message about Lebanon", the agency added without elaborating.
