FACTBOX-US Henry Hub natgas prices average two-year low for February

NEW YORK, March 2 (Reuters) - U.S. spot natural gas prices at the Henry Hub benchmark NG-W-HH-SNL in Louisiana averaged a two-year low for the month of February, pricing data from financial firm LSEG showed.

Gas prices averaged $3.62 per million British thermal units (mmBtu) in February, their lowest for the month since 2024.

That was down from averages of $4.19 per mmBtu in February 2025 and $3.67 during the month over the past five years (2021-2025).

In calendar 2025, prices at Henry Hub averaged $3.53 per mmBtu, up from a four-year low of $2.19 for full-year 2024 and a five-year average of $3.72. NGAS/POLL
