German minister says EU move on US trade deal gives planning certainty
BERLIN, May 20 (Reuters) - Germany's economy minister welcomed on Wednesday a provisional EU agreement on the removal of import duties on U.S. goods which paves the way for a finalised trade deal with Washington, saying it gave planning certainty for companies.
"It is good news that a political agreement was reached yesterday on the implementation of our commitments. This will provide our businesses with much-needed predictability," said Reiche in a statement.
