Hapag-Lloyd suspends Cuba bookings after US executive order
FRANKFURT, May 17 (Reuters) - Hapag-Lloyd HLAG.DE has suspended bookings to and from Cuba due to an executive order by U.S. President Donald Trump, the German shipping group said on Sunday, joining French peer CMA CGM.
"We have taken this decision due to compliance risks arising from the U.S. President's Executive Order of May 1," a spokesperson for the company said in e-mailed comments.
