HENSOLDT AG has secured a new In-Service Support (ISS) contract to continue supporting the COBRA weapon location radar systems. The agreement, established through a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Germany and France, reaffirms HENSOLDT's role as the strategic industrial partner for the next three years, with the possibility of extending support until the end of the system's service life. As the System Design Authority, HENSOLDT will provide configuration management, technical incident management, technical support, on-site maintenance, logistical documentation, IT security management, quality assurance and safety, and obsolescence management for the COBRA systems. The contract is managed by OCCAR and involves continued cooperation between Germany and France in the security and defence sector.
