InspireMD Inc. NSPR | 0.00 |
Insiders who bought US$420.8k worth of InspireMD, Inc. (NASDAQ:NSPR) stock in the last year have seen some of their losses recouped as the stock gained 14% last week. The purchase, however, has proven to be a pricey bet, with losses currently totalling US$161k.
While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.
InspireMD Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the insider, Shane Gleason, sold US$190k worth of shares at a price of US$3.65 per share. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of US$0.74. So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it. Shane Gleason was the only individual insider to sell over the last year.
Over the last year, we can see that insiders have bought 350.12k shares worth US$421k. But insiders sold 146.49k shares worth US$289k.
