Insiders Could Have Profited By Holding onto Dominari Holdings Shares Despite 11% Drop
Dominari Holdings Inc. DOMH | 0.00 |
Despite the fact that Dominari Holdings Inc.'s (NASDAQ:DOMH) value has dropped 11% in the last week insiders who sold US$1.0m worth of stock in the past 12 months have had less success. Insiders would probably have been better off holding on to their shares given that the average selling price of US$3.94 is still lower than the current share price.
Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.
Dominari Holdings Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the Chief Operating Officer, Christopher Devall, sold US$871k worth of shares at a price of US$4.22 per share. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of US$2.48. So it may not tell us anything about how insiders feel about the current share price. The only individual insider seller over the last year was Christopher Devall.
Happily, we note that in the last year insiders paid US$186k for 48.00k shares. But insiders sold 265.00k shares worth US$1.0m. Christopher Devall divested 265.00k shares over the last 12 months at an average price of US$3.94.
