LONDON, July 15 (Reuters) - Citi C.N has hired Vincenzo Ruggieri from UBS UBSG.S to become a managing director and head of aerospace and defence for the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the Wall Street bank said in a memo seen by Reuters on Wednesday.

Ruggieri will be based in London, reporting to Jean-Baptiste Petard, the memo said, adding he will also cover other accounts across diversified industrials. He was previously head of EMEA aerospace and defence at UBS.

A Citi spokesperson confirmed the contents of the memo.
