On Friday, the statistical office will release preliminary inflation data for Poland in May. Analysts polled by Reuters estimate that it accelerated to 3.6%, above the upper limit of the central bank's inflation target, from 3.2% in April.

Polish Finance Minister Andrzej Domański said that the greatest threat to the Polish economy is the conflict in the Middle East, which translates into higher prices for oil and many other products, but for now the impact of these phenomena on inflation in Poland remains limited, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
DIAGNOSTYKA
Polish medical laboratory operator Diagnostyka DIAP.WA on Thursday reported an over 13% rise in first-quarter net profit, driven mainly by higher average prices for diagnostic services.
CD PROJEKT
Poland's biggest game developer CD Projekt CDR.WA on Thursday reported a 4.5% fall in first-quarter net profit compared with the previous year due to higher costs.
