The Times
- Investors have filed claims against British American Tobacco BATS.L over allegations it failed to inform the stock market properly about its operations in North Korea. ReAssure, part of Standard Life, and Aberdeen, the FTSE 100 investment groups, are among a group of investors to have launched a claim.
- The Bank of England appears to have pushed back a headline target for at least 500 staff to be based in Leeds by 2027. Its commitment, made in May 2024, would equate to about one in ten staff working from the northern city.

- UK's Ministers are poised to crack down on unlicensed casinos sponsoring British sports teams amid criticism that a delay to the proposals has opened the door for offshore gambling firms to strike lucrative deals with Premier League clubs.
