Prysmian secures framework agreement for €910 mln contract in Greece

- Italy's Prysmian PRY.MI said on Monday it has secured a framework agreement with Greek power grid operator IPTO ADMr.AT to develop electrical interconnections between islands in Greece worth around €910 million ($1.04 billion).

The company will manufacture and install submarine and land-based cables under the agreement for the project in the Dodecanese and North Aegean islands in Greece.

Prysmian also announced earlier on Monday that it will manufacture in its ​plant near Naples the ‌cables for a contract it won for the submarine ​power interconnection between ​Italy and Tunisia.
