Prysmian secures framework agreement for €910 mln contract in Greece
June 22 (Reuters) - Italy's Prysmian PRY.MI said on Monday it has secured a framework agreement with Greek power grid operator IPTO ADMr.AT to develop electrical interconnections between islands in Greece worth around €910 million ($1.04 billion).
The company will manufacture and install submarine and land-based cables under the agreement for the project in the Dodecanese and North Aegean islands in Greece.
Prysmian also announced earlier on Monday that it will manufacture in its plant near Naples the cables for a contract it won for the submarine power interconnection between Italy and Tunisia.
