TotalEnergies cutting back Texas refinery production for repairs, sources say

- TotalEnergies <TTEF.PA is cutting back production at its 238,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas refinery for repairs to a reformer following a plantwide restart after a power interruption, said people familiar with plant operations.

The 35,000-bpd reformer has been malfunctioning since the refinery restarted two weeks after the June 19 power outage due to a lightning strike, the sources said. The refinery has yet to reach full production.

A TotalEnergies spokesperson did not reply to a request for comment.
