MADRID, Dec 19 (Reuters) - The Bank of Spain will lift its economic forecast due officially next week, its central bank governor Jose Luis Escriva told Spanish broadcaster TVE on Friday.
"I can anticipate that, just as the ECB has revised its growth forecasts for this year and next year upwards, we will also be revising our forecasts upwards," Escriva said.
The central bank governor said the lifted revisions for Spain's economy will mostly apply to 2026, as they had almost no margin for another one in 2025.
In September , the central bank forecast Spain to grow 2.6% in 2026 and 1.8% in 2026.
