July 6 (Reuters) - Goldman Sachs GS.N said on Monday that Evan Kotsovinos has joined the banking giant from Google as a partner and head of asset and wealth management engineering.

Kotsovinos will work with teams across asset and wealth management division, and GS Engineering, on investment performance, client experience, risk management and day-to-day operations, the bank said.
At Google GOOGL.O, Kotsovinos served as head of privacy, safety and security, overseeing artificial intelligence safety and data protection, the bank said.
He previously led technology infrastructure at American Express AXP.N and held engineering leadership roles at Morgan Stanley MS.N in Europe and Asia.
