Jan 28 (Reuters) - Vans parent VF Corp VFC.N on Wednesday forecast fourth-quarter revenue above analysts' estimate, after strong holiday demand for its North Face and Timberland brands underpinned its third-quarter sales beat.

Shares of the Denver, Colorado-based apparel retailer rose 3.5% in premarket trading.

VF Corp's upbeat showing comes even as the broader retail sector remains pressured, with many U.S. apparel makers struggling to navigate the uncertainty caused by the Trump administration's volatile trade policies.

The company reported third-quarter revenue of $2.88 billion, compared with analysts' average estimate of $2.76 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG.

It expects fourth-quarter revenue in the range of flat to up 2%, compared with the estimate of a 2.6% decline.
