US Agriculture Secretary Rollins to attend inauguration of Mexico's sterile screwworm fly plant
MEXICO CITY, June 25 (Reuters) - Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Thursday that U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins will be present at the inauguration of a sterile fly plant in Mexico, a key tool in the fight against the flesh-eating screwworm parasite.
The inauguration of the plant, a jointly-funded project by the U.S. and Mexico, is scheduled for Saturday in the southern border state of Chiapas, Sheinbaum added.
