US-Iran pact 'very important step for peace,' France's Macron says
EVIAN-LES-BAINS, June 15 (Reuters) - The memorandum of understanding signed by the United States and Iran to end their four-month war is a very important step and will allow for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Monday.
"That's a very important step for peace," Macron said during a press meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump during the G7 summit.
