Riyadh - Mubasher: ACWA Power announced its success in entering the People's Republic of China market by securing a portfolio containing more than 1 gigawatt of renewable energy projects in partnership with leading Chinese companies in this field .

The company added in a statement to "Tadawul" today, Monday, that this portfolio consists of several solar photovoltaic and wind energy projects in multiple provinces in the People's Republic of China.

She pointed out that it is in the final stages of completing these investments, which will be wholly owned by ACWA Power or partially owned by other partners .

She stated that this official entry into the Chinese energy market represents a significant step in ACWA Power’s journey, as it lays a solid foundation and contributes to supporting the company’s plans for future expansion.
