PRESSR: IFCO expands its production capacity and market presence with a modern production line for non-woven carpets

Cairo – Egyptian Fiber Company (EFCO), one of the world’s largest industrial enterprises in the production of woven and non-woven carpets and rugs and related products, announced a significant strategic step with the launch of a new and advanced non-woven carpet production line. This expansion reflects the company’s long-term vision to strengthen its competitive position, diversify its products and services, and expand its presence in global markets.

The new line has advanced Chinese technology and an annual production capacity of 6 million square meters, which enhances EFCO’s technical capabilities and enables it to target high-demand sectors, especially the geotextile sector, which is experiencing continuous growth thanks to its widespread adoption in the fields of construction, furniture, hygiene products, automobiles, medical products, agriculture, and packaging.

This will increase IFFCO’s overall production capacity by 30%, enhancing its ability to meet global demand more quickly, efficiently, and flexibly. It will also boost IFFCO’s competitiveness by increasing productivity, improving its cost structure, and expanding its product range, in addition to creating over 150 new jobs and contributing to the development of the local industry.
