Riyadh - Mubasher: The Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Polish Chamber of Commerce organized the Saudi-Polish Business Forum in the capital Warsaw on Tuesday.

The forum was attended by the Federation President Hassan bin Moajab Al-Huwaizi, a number of Polish ministers, the Minister of Economic Development, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Poland Saad bin Saleh Al-Saleh, the Polish Ambassador to the Kingdom Robert Rostek, the heads of the Joint Business Council Abdullah Abudabil and Andrzej Szumowski, and more than 400 investors and representatives of governmental and private agencies in the two countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the forum, 265 Polish companies representing 6 vital economic sectors expressed their desire to invest in the Kingdom and establish partnerships with Saudi investors, reflecting Polish interest in the Saudi market.

The Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers noted the establishment of the Saudi-Polish Coordination Council as a strong addition to bilateral relations, given Poland’s status as the 21st largest economy in the world, and the investment opportunities in the sectors of tourism, energy, agriculture, food security, technology, industry, and logistics services.

In turn, Abu Dabil pointed out that the Kingdom is the largest economic partner of the Republic of Poland at the level of Arab countries, noting the great partnership opportunities between the business sectors of the two countries. This visit enhances the opportunities to raise the level of economic relations between the Kingdom and Poland, as the volume of trade exchange reached 33.7 billion riyals, of which 28.1 billion riyals were exports and 5.6 billion riyals were imports. Poland represents the Kingdom's 12th trading partner in terms of exports and 32nd in terms of imports.

It is noteworthy that the Federation of Saudi Chambers is leading intensive efforts through its foreign visits to open new global markets with a focus on economic and logistical zones, as Poland is a suitable destination for these aspirations through 21 free economic zones.
