Flyadeal and the Alfursan loyalty program have signed an agreement that will allow passengers to earn and redeem Alfursan reward miles. This comes in light of the qualitative development witnessed by the Alfursan program in its system of services and benefits, especially those related to the digital aspect, in addition to the operational expansion of Flyadeal’s operations. The agreement was attended by His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al Omar, General Manager of the Saudia Group, and was signed by Stephen Greenway, CEO of Flyadeal, and Mr. Essam Akhonbay, Assistant General Manager of the Alfursan loyalty program .
Under the agreement, bookings on Flyadeal flights using Alfursan reward miles will be available throughout the year. Reward miles can also be earned upon travel, and are awarded based on the selected travel class, which includes Fly Max and Fly Plus .
Alfursan members can redeem reward miles to travel on any of Flyadeal's scheduled flights for an unlimited number of seats. All days and seasons are eligible for booking using reward miles at competitive prices. Alfursan members will receive the same travel experience as passengers with paid tickets, including rebooking and support in the event of flight delays or cancellations .
Mr. Stephen Greenway noted that the company's joining Alfursan, the Kingdom's leading loyalty program, reflects its commitment to enhancing the travel experience for travelers both within and outside the Kingdom. He noted that the program enjoys a diverse base of members and partners. He added that the remarkable growth in the number of tourists, visitors, and pilgrims contributes to supporting the development of an integrated aviation system based on demand, a variety of options, and enhanced loyalty.
For his part, Mr. Essam Akhonbay explained that Alfursan program continues to strengthen its position by expanding the scope of its members and concluding distinctive strategic partnerships, such as the partnership with Flyadeal, in parallel with offering additional benefits to grant more exclusive rewards than ever before. He also confirmed that the coming period will witness a significant expansion in the scope of the program’s partnerships, in addition to introducing new benefits that provide members with broader opportunities to earn miles and use them in a way that suits their needs. He added that the program’s ambition is for “Alfursan” to be the first choice for loyalty programs in the Kingdom and among the best in the world .
Travelers can add their Alfursan membership number during booking to ensure that miles are added correctly. Miles redemption bookings are processed through the flyadeal website or app, allowing for a faster booking experience. Miles earned on flyadeal flights are automatically added to their Alfursan account if the membership number is linked during booking. Missing miles can be claimed within six months of the flight date, starting from the partnership announcement date of Monday, June 23, 2025, via the Alfursan program. Tier balance will be awarded during the three-month promotional period, from June 23, 2025, to September 30, 2025.

About Flyadeal :
On September 23, 2017, Saudi Arabia's National Day, flyadeal began operations with its historic maiden flight from Jeddah to Riyadh. A pioneer and innovator, flyadeal was the first regional low-cost airline to launch solely through digital distribution channels. As the sister airline to Saudi Arabia's national carrier—both are fully owned by Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia Group)—flyadeal was created to serve price-conscious, tech-savvy customers in a market where 80% of Saudi Arabia's population is under 40 and owns at least two mobile phones.
Flyadeal aims to stimulate travel, tourism, and trade through its affordable, value-for-money everyday fares, catering to the needs of leisure, religious, family, and business travelers. Simplicity is the hallmark of the economy-class cabin on Flyadeal's narrow-body fleet. As the Kingdom undergoes a radical transformation through its Vision 2030 economic diversification journey, aviation and tourism are among the many sectors earmarked for dynamic growth. Today, Flyadeal is one of the youngest and fastest-growing budget airlines in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, delivering exceptional on-time service that consistently exceeds the global industry average.
Flyadeal operates a small fleet of 37 narrow-body Airbus A320 aircraft operating from air bases in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam to destinations across Saudi Arabia. Flyadeal has a growing international footprint in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, carrying more than 33 million passengers since its launch. In May 2024, Flyadeal placed its largest-ever order for 51 aircraft—12 A320neos and 39 larger A321neos —with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2026. By 2030, Flyadeal plans to operate hundreds of routes, tripling its fleet and network to more than 100 aircraft and destinations respectively. Flyadeal's massive expansion drive also makes it a rapidly growing airline and one of the most sought-after companies to work for in the country.
