Riyadh - Mubasher: The Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize the Saudi-Omani Joint Business Forum in the Omani capital, Muscat, next Wednesday, with the participation of a delegation of 75 Saudi businessmen and representatives of government agencies.

A statement by the Federation of Chambers explained that the forum’s agenda will include holding a meeting of the Saudi-Omani Joint Business Council, bilateral meetings between company representatives, and field visits to some economic and tourist areas in the Sultanate of Oman.

It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman amounted to 36.8 billion riyals in 2023, of which 22.5 billion riyals were Saudi exports, with a compound growth rate of 33.8% since 2019.

Nasser Al-Hajri, Chairman of the Saudi-Omani Business Council, explained that the inter-trade between the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman constitutes a large economic market for the private sector, noting the role of the Council in supporting the volume of business and joint projects between the two countries.

He stated that the forum will highlight investment opportunities in the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman, ways to increase the volume of trade and investment exchanges, and expand the scope of cooperation between the Saudi and Omani business sectors.
