"Social Insurance" launches a service to reduce the rate of injuries in the work environment

Riyadh - Mubasher: The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) announced the launch of the “Self-Compliance” service, which aims to reduce the rate of injuries in the work environment, as part of its ongoing efforts to create a partnership with employers in order to enhance and sustain occupational safety and health among employers and establishments, and within its ongoing approach to automating all its services provided .

The “Self-Compliance” service is the latest innovative service provided to employers and establishments within an integrated digital environment, with the aim of raising the level of establishments’ commitment to occupational safety and health standards; to ensure the provision of a safe and healthy work environment for subscribers, free of risks, which will result in a decrease in the rate of work injuries. The service will also contribute to supporting employers by reducing the registration of insurance violations .

The establishments will receive the “self-compliance” request in a fully automatic manner through the establishment’s account in “GOSI Business”. After that, the establishment will complete the compliance request by reviewing and filling out the occupational health and safety items in the sent form, and then resend it for “Insurance” to review it and ensure that the establishment applies all occupational health and safety standards .

It is noteworthy that the Social Insurance recorded a record commitment rate to safety standards and principles in the work environment during the third quarter of the current year 2024, reaching 92%. It also provided support to more than 8,100 establishments in the field of occupational safety and health, and during the same period carried out more than 13,000 awareness and preventive visits to employers, to educate them on the importance of insurance compliance.
